About The Answer, Inc.
The Answer, Inc. was founded in 2003 to provide affordable and reliable on-site computer support services to homes and small businesses. Back in 2002, founder Chris Goldberg (an electrical engineer with over 10 years experience in the design of telecom and computer networking products) finally hopped on the high-speed Internet bandwagon - and found a bumpy ride! He found the speed was great, but the customer service was horrible - phone support was ridiculous, on-site support was underqualified, and the ISP had no advice whatsoever if you actually wanted to use that Internet connection for more than one computer. Even worse, finding paid computer support that would perform house calls was expensive, and the actual experience of the "technicians" was questionable. Chris felt that just because people could work on their computers themselves didn't mean that they should have to!
Hence, The Answer, Inc. was born. As the client list grew, Chris found that the customer support issues associated with ISPs extended to the computer manufacturers, big-box stores, and software manufacturers as well. He also found many businesses that were struggling to support themselves rather than trust their critical systems to suspect contracts. Now, over 250 clients later, The Answer, Inc. has evolved into a full-service on-site computer support firm with an excellent reputation and expertise in home and small office computer environments.
